We Must Receive God’s Word From His Spirit to Our spirit.

“These things we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:13-14.

Our natural man consists of our soul. At the risk of repeating myself. The soul or natural man has understanding based upon their own intellect, their own experiences, their own biases, their own intuition, their own feelings.

90% percent of the time that you ask a person why they believe in something or not; their answer is because I just feel that way. Or because I just believe that. They are essentially their own God. They will never discern the things that God wants to teach them because what He teaches is spiritual and most people (sadly the majority of Christians) don’t have the spiritual connection with the Holy Spirit to receive the great things that God wants to show them or tell them.

Ask God to shine His light upon your beliefs and to remove your natural perspective and give you His perspective in all aspects of your life.
